Dunelm Strengthens Southern Operations with Senior Appointments

Dunelm Geotechnical & Environmental has strengthened its southern operations with two senior appointments at its Hungerford office.

Jim Constantine has joined the business as Contracts Manager, while Tony Hastings has been appointed Principal Engineer. The appointments form part of a strategic move to support the continued growth of Dunelm’s southern office, while strengthening the company’s commercial, operational and technical delivery capability across the region.

As Contracts Manager, Jim will be both operationally and commercially focused, with direct responsibility for business development, client relationship management, commercial and contractual oversight, operational planning, resourcing and financial performance.

Alongside this, Tony Hastings, as Principal Engineer, will provide dedicated technical and project delivery leadership, with a focus on technical delivery, quality assurance and day-to-day project management.

The structure has been designed to create clear accountability within the company’s southern office, allowing the Contracts Manager role to concentrate on strategic, commercial and financial leadership, while ensuring strong technical governance and project delivery oversight are maintained through the Principal Engineer role.

Dr Keith Salt, UK Contracts Director at Dunelm Geotechnical & Environmental, said: “The appointments of Jim and Tony represent an important step in the continued development of our Hungerford office and our southern operations. They vastly enhance our commercial performance and ensure we continue to provide clients across the South with the technical quality, responsiveness and service they expect from Dunelm.”

The Hungerford office supports Dunelm’s wider ground investigation, geotechnical and environmental services across southern England, providing regional capability backed by the resources and technical expertise of the wider business.

The appointments reflect Dunelm’s continued investment in its people, regional presence and long-term growth, as the company continues to support clients across infrastructure, construction, development and environmental sectors.
