Build

UK Construction Week (UKCW) is the UK’s largest construction event for specialist trades and SME builders. The event showcases over 10,000 products from tools to doors, from roofing products to building systems.

Build sponsored by Easy-trim is the largest section of UKCW and is broken down into specific product areas to make the search easier. See the product areas listed below.

These include roofing, cladding and insulation; doors, windows and glass; health and safety and fire safety systems; modern methods of construction; tools; and digital construction and BIM solutions.

Build has it's dedicated Regeneration Hub, a conference programme looking at regional regeneration and a panel debates and keynotes.


Building Tech

UK Construction Week is the UK’s largest built environment event. Building Tech section of the event showcases the latest technological advancements in construction, including BIM, software, controls and automation, lighting, security, virtual reality and IOT.

Within Building Tech, the Digital Construction Hub offers visitors the chance to hear from digital pioneers from a number of construction firms and to get involved in practical workshops.

Working in partnership with the UK BIM Alliance, we are now looking for speakers for the Digital Construction Hub.  We want to hear your BIM implementation stories, the challenges you have face, how you overcame if you did and what learnings you gained.  If you would like the opportunity to present then get in touch with UK BIM Alliance (here) and start the conversation.


Civils

UK Construction Week (UKCW) is the UK’s largest built environment event.

The UK’s largest infrastructure projects both in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, rail, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment is showcased at the Civils section of the event.

Civils is an event for civil engineers, site managers, project managers, landscape architects and all those involved in design, build, operate, and maintain infrastructure projects and systems. 

At Civils, engineering professionals get the best of all worlds, with bespoke content on a selection of topical issues in civils and infrastructure, but also exposure to a wider range of construction, regeneration and specialist technical learning. The CPD Hub delivers interactive CPDs and workshops on a wide range and it is free.


Energy & HVAC

UK Construction Week is the UK’s largest construction event and will showcase  power and energy sources including renewables, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, heat pumps, EMS, new connections, ICP and power solutions for the built environment.

Energy & HVAC part of the event will also provide new and innovative upcoming market solutions for contractors, energy managers, architects, installers, FM professionals, engineers and developers.

The Energy and HVAC Hub delivers seminars on a wide range of issues including energy efficiency and sustainability for housebuilders, low carbon energy on construction sites, the need to develop infrastructure for electric vehicles and improving building controls.


Surface & Materials

UK Construction Week is the UK’s largest built environment event for architects. The event will showcase from colour forecasts to bionic buildings; from cladding to coatings, panels to plumbing and flooring to finishes. 

Surface & Materials section will offer an exclusive array of new product launches and creative ideas that will inspire designers and specifiers from all parts of the interiors and architectural industry.

The Surface & Materials Hub delivers seminars on a wide range and it is free. So much is going on in the world of design, specification and construction and the comprehensive conference programme and free CPD sessions will give further insight into key topics such as the circular economy and biodiversity with the opportunity to ask experts questions. 


Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Hub

The MMC Hub tells the story of how offsite construction components and techniques are increasingly being used beyond housing, into healthcare, education, leisure and retail. Examples of MMC-built structures at the show range from a modular care annex for the healthcare sector, to a SIPS panel residential building, a factory-finished modular bathroom pod for the high-end hotel sector, and offsite solutions for the education sector. In addition, a large number of product manufacturers and exhibitors will be on hand to discuss their MMC solutions.

Plus workshops, case studies and CPD Seminars on the latest advancements in MMC.


Timber Expo

Timber Expo is FREE to attend and is part of UK Construction Week which welcomes 650+ exhibitors, 35,000 visitors, over 300 expert speaker line-up and over 150 hours of CPD content. With a single registration, visitors can enter Timber Expo, UK Construction Week, Concrete Expo (6-7 October only) and Grand Designs Live (Free entry on the 7-8 October only).

The event, supported by the Concrete Society and Structural Concrete Alliance, welcomes over 4,600 high quality audience with a vested interest in the production and use of concrete, as well as associated products and services.

Co-located with UK Construction Week, the UK’s biggest construction event help us to deliver visitors who would not attend a stand-alone event.
